A marble heaven some may say. The Duomo di Milano is the cathedral church of Milan. Dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity. The unique church is something you have to visit when you are in Milan. I would recommend the ticket that gives you permission to go on the top of the Duomo and access the museum. You will get so impressed by the comprehensive work that is put into this building. Like the Candoglia marble that has to be replaced by new ones constantly because it get to dark. So it’s an ongoing project just to keep it like it appears now. The view from the roof is really pretty and you can also get very close to the materials when you’r up there. So take a look at the different detailed work and mesmerise.
